1.1Mega watts of Industrial SOLAR orchard installed on Town Municipal Land to THE South of Meadow House. These FIELDS have a 97% solar Production Rating.
We are exploring local-scale alternative energy collaborations and will have our carbon / non-renewable footprint zeroed out entirely by 2018 as part of our sustainability planning goals. Much of the Meadow has been mutually protected through conservation easements and is in agricultural use currently which gives fantastic edge habitat for a diversity of wildlife using the corridor of the Hunger Ravines as a migratory path. For some species, like deer, it's daily and for others like black bear, seasonally. Whatever we end up doing will include all local neighborhood considerations.
